Reflections

Well, I guess all my readers deserve an explanation. I did this little weblog for fun, nothing more, nothing less. I screen all my comments before they are approved for the site and I must say, some of them are pretty creepy. Relax, it's just a website. Now, on to the explanation.

I shaved because I got tired of having a beard. It's that simple. I got tired of the way it felt, the length, the looks I got, and a ton of other reasons. It was really cool to have a beard for 9 months straight. I set a goal and didn't reach it. So what? That's a part of life. I think I'll keep this blog as I have always had interesting things on my mind but felt they were a little out of place for this blog.

Advertisers: Please stop emailing me. I will not put a banner on this side, no matter how much you promise to pay me. I'm not in this for money (or fame). As stated before, I did this for fun. The second it stopped being fun, I shaved. It's that simple.

It just so happened that my girlfriend's birthday coincided with that decision but that worked out for the better in the end! Thanks again for traveling with me through this journey. One of my personal goals was to have a deeper understanding of time and to know and judge time just as clearly as a marathon runner can judge distance. There will be things in all of our lives that we can't control. There will be times when the only option we have is to wait. Wait and wait. I wanted to have control over that aspect. At any point, I could stop waiting and just move on to the next step in my life. When that point came, I moved on.

Thanks for reading and be sure to check back later as I will most likely keep posting in this blog about random goings-on in my life.
